Headaches
Initial Pricks followed by intradermal injections of penicillin allergens to determine penicillin sensitivity. Usually requires half a day to complete testing. Results are known at the end of the visit.
Local Anesthetic Allergy
Reactions to various "caines" (benzocaine, novocaine, etc.)
Non Allergic Rhinitis
NAR causes symptoms of allergies such as sneezing, nasal drainage, nasal blockage, cough, and tendency for sinus infections, but is not related to allergies.
Eczema of Atopic Dermatitis
Skin rashes generally caused by allergic triggers.
Asthma
Asthma may be allergic, non-allergic, aspirin sensitive or exercise induced. It is presented by episodes of wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing.
Food Allergy & Adverse Reaction
Evaluation for allergic versus non allergic reactions to foods.
Insect Sting Allergy
Allergic reactions caused by stinging of flying insects (Bees, Wasps, Hornets, etc.).
Urticaria & Angioedema
Recurrent hives and swelling.
Eosinophilic Esophagitis / Gastroenteritis
Detected by gastroenterologists; many times caused by food allergies.
Chronic Cough
Caused by various allergic/non allergic triggers.
Vaccination in Egg Allergic Patients
Vaccines with significant egg content can cause reactions in patients allergic to egg.
